PTO Accruals
PTO hours are accrued or earned each pay period. Employees begin accruing PTO on the first day of employment. The accrual schedule is as follows:

Starting on Day 1 and up through 1 year of continuous employment, a full-time employee accrues 1.54 hours of PTO per payroll period (based on a 40-hour work week) (5 days) per year.

Over 1 year and up through 4 years of continuous employment a full-time employee accrues 3.08 hours of PTO per payroll period (based on a 40-hour work week) (10 days) per year.

Over 4 years and up through 6 years of continuous employment a full-time employee accrues 3.38 hours of PTO per payroll period (based on a 40-hour work week) (11 days) per year.

Over 6 years of continuous employment a full-time employee accrues 4.92 hours of PTO per payroll period (based on a 40-hour work week) (16 days) per year.
At the end of the calendar year, employees are eligible to carry-over all earned but unused PTO hours.
